When we started on our report for 2020, we had some reservations. What could we expect to glean from the disruption that ripped across the pandemic-ridden world? Since those conditions existed everywhere, it made sense to look at student mobility comparisons between countries. Who lost? Who lost more? Were there any real winners? With the overall size of the pie reduced, was there anyone who really got a bigger slice?

One country, an international education powerhouse, did flex its muscles and it has actually come out better in 2020 compared to previous years.
