Frequently Asked Questions
What services do you offer?

Our services range from one-off services such as initial counseling, to long term services like application review, scholarship counseling, visa counseling and pre-departure coaching.

We also provide all these services under one comprehensive package called Counseling Package.

What makes MMA services different from others?

There are two ways in which we differentiate ourselves from other advisors.

Our knowledge about Canada: Our team has unparalleled expertise in counseling for Canadian universities and deep knowledge about Canada. Our Founder Director Ms Maria Mathai has visited institutions in all 10 Canadian provinces and has met with scores of Indian and international students studying in these institutions. Years of experience have helped us develop a deep understanding of the Canadian admissions process and gather institution specific insights.

Customised counseling: Our counseling is highly customized and works in tandem not just with your goals but also with your constraints. We know that each person is different and our counseling is geared to help each student succeed in their unique goals. We offer a seamless blend of face to face interaction with technology to provide you with the best recommendations.

Do you help with Master’s admissions also?

Yes, we help you with admissions for undergraduate studies, graduate studies, PhD programs and diploma studies (UG and PG Diploma)

When should I begin my application process?

We recommend planning your application at least a year in advance, and begin your research at least 3 years before, especially for undergraduate and MBA applicants.

How can I get in touch with you?

You can send us an email at enquiry@mdotm.in.

Or you can call us at +91 11 4601 8520 or +91 8527816109

What are your office hours?

We work from 9:00 am to 6:00 pm from Monday to Saturday.

Do you work with students from other cities?

While we are headquartered in Delhi, we work with students from across the country. We offer a blend of technology driven and in person interactions. Our team travels to various cities in India and we also provide counseling using virtual platforms.

What if I am in a boarding/hostel and not able to visit your office?

We provide online counseling services as well. Our team also travels to many cities across India and we ensure that sessions are scheduled keeping in mind your availability.

What is covered in the initial counseling session?

The initial counseling session is designed to help you define the broad parameters of your university quest in Canada. We help answer questions such as: What are the requirements for admission to Canadian universities? What is the best timeline for you? Are you eligible for scholarships?

We take into consideration your personal, academic and financial profile to advise you on the approach you should take for institution and course selection.

What documents do I need to bring for my initial session?

You do not need to bring any documents for the initial session. However, you are expected to complete our detailed registration form. We strongly recommend that you complete the form at least 4 days prior to the initial session. The form link will be emailed to you after you have scheduled your appointment and you can complete it online or send it to us via email.

Can I bring my parents for the initial session?

For undergraduate studies, we encourage you to attend the first session with your parents. For graduate or postgraduate studies we encourage you to come alone, but if needed you can bring along your family – maximum two additional members are allowed.

Why do you charge for initial counseling?

We give unbiased advice customized to your profile, and do not have any referral fee or commission arrangement with any university or college. The purpose of our counseling is to help you find the perfect university. We get to know you and work with you to develop an application profile which will get you admission in universities that are the best possible match for you. So we have a charge for our professional advice.

Also, if you sign up for any of the counseling packages, the initial counseling fees will be adjusted against that.
